The Cosmetic "Flaws": The paper labels and/or caps have been heavily customized with random, beautiful splatters of contrasting inks. No two bottles look alike!

Overall, the St. Louis Pen show was an absolute blast (thank you to everyone who stopped by, entered our giveaway, and talked shop with us!). But the universe decided we needed a dramatic finale. Somewhere on the highway, a particularly nasty bump caused a minor disaster in one of our inventory crates. Four bottles did not survive the journey.
When we opened the bin, it looked like a rainbow grenade had gone off. The broken De Atramentis inks had claimed their territory across every single neighboring bottle. Once the initial panic wore off and we started cleaning up, we realized something: Our loss is your gain!
Sure, their labels are permanently stained with a chaotic nebula of contrasting ink splatters. (Making some of them VERY hard to read) Yes, some of the caps look like they’ve been tie-dyed. But underneath the battle scars? The glass is perfectly intact, the seals are tight, and the ink inside is completely pristine.
We can't sell them as "brand new, pristine" stock, but we certainly aren't going to let perfectly good ink go to waste. So, we're doing the only sensible thing: throwing an Ink-splosion Sale.

Fast & Reliable Delivery
Most of our products are shipped via ground transport. We also offer shipping upgrades for Priority Mail and can add Signature Confirmation to any package for an additional fee (please contact us to add this to your order).

Standard Delivery: 2–5 days
Priority: 1–3 days
Our Commitment to You
We typically ship items the next business day. If we are away at a pen show or during peak holiday seasons, a shipping delay notification will be posted in our "Shop Announcement" on Etsy or our website blog. Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number immediately.
Note on Delivery: While lost packages are rare, please contact us at ProvincialPenCo@gmail.com if any issues arise.
Important Shipping Reminders
Verify Address: Please double-check your shipping address. We are not responsible for items sent to an incorrect address provided at checkout.
Secure Delivery: Ensure a safe location for delivery. Once a package is marked as "Delivered," we can no longer assist with loss claims.
Returns: If a package is returned to us, we will refund the purchase price (minus shipping), and the item will be returned to inventory.
General Return Policy
(All Ink-Splosion sales are final - no returns, refunds or exchanges).
If you are not happy with your purchase, please contact us within 21 days and return the undamaged product within 30 days for a refund (minus shipping cost).
All returns must be pre-approved. Please contact us via email or phone prior to returning items.
Condition: Returned items must be in the same condition as when shipped (no scratches or wear). Items must be returned in their original box accompanied with all accessories they came with.
Fountain Pen Rules: Fountain pens that have been unused are eligible for a full refund. Fountain pens that have been used and require inspection and cleaning will have a $10 fee subtracted from the refund.
Ink: Bottles of ink must be unopened due to contamination concerns.
Restocking: If items are used, need cleaning, or are missing packaging / parts, a fee will be subtracted from the refund.
